The first meeting of the YAN Sri Lanka Youth Network's new Board of Directors for 2022 was conducted on 09th January 2022.
YAN Sri Lanka conducted a special interactive workshop addressing challenges related to SRHR among youth with disabilities.
A total of 85 young individuals enrolled in the program. As resource individuals for this event, Dr. Jeewaranga Gunasekara, Registrar, Health Promotion Bureau Sri Lanka and Dr. Chamanthi Jayamanne, Medical Officer of the Family Health Bureau Sri Lanka participated.
YAN Sri Lanka members conducted island wide banner campaign to aware people regarding real harm of alcohol and the cannabis. Also, through this campaign we empower women to take action against the drug related violence.
Yan Sri Lanka and Leo Club university of Kelaniya organized and conducted school programme at Gampaha.
YAN Sri Lanka Jaffna district team organized and conducted a youth programme colobarate with divitional secetry of Jaffna.
The youth camp carried out programs and activities covering drug prevention, non-communicable disease prevention and youth leadership development.
Every year, awards are presented to all directors and resource pool members of the YAN Sri Lanka according to their performances.
